For driveway installs without a garage, which is more common on Dieppe’s older streets near Chartersville, the equipment has to be properly outdoor rated and the penetration properly sealed. Winters here put real stress on exterior equipment, and a charger mounted with an unsealed penetration will let water track back into the wall. We mount and flash these to hold up.
If you’re also considering a heat pump, mention it when we quote. Sizing the service once for both is meaningfully cheaper than doing it twice, and it’s a very common pairing in Dieppe right now.
