Rough-in is where the electrical plan actually gets set: where outlets land, how many circuits a kitchen gets, whether the panel is sized for a future EV charger or hot tub instead of just what’s in the plans today. TLB Electric works from the builder’s drawings but flags gaps early, before a wall is closed up and a change means cutting drywall back open.

We’re used to working alongside general contractors and other trades on a build schedule, showing up for rough-in, passing inspection, and returning for trim-out once the space is finished. For owner-builders managing their own trades, we’ll walk the site with you before rough-in starts so the panel and circuit layout matches how you actually plan to use the space.
